Software Quality Assurance Engineer (Mobile)

Position Overview
We are looking for a Software Quality Assurance Engineer (Mobile) to help ensure that our mobile applications are stable, performant, and delightful to use on both Android and iOS.
You will work closely with developers, designers, and product managers throughout the lifecycle, from reviewing requirements to validating features before releasing, with a strong focus on real device behavior and mobile specific edge cases.
Responsibilities
- Design, execute, and maintain test plans and test cases for cross platform mobile applications.
- Perform functional, regression, and exploratory testing on mobile features across different devices, OS versions, and screen sizes.
- Test mobile specific scenarios such as offline behavior, push notifications, permissions, background/foreground transitions, and app upgrades.
- Log clear, reproducible defects and work with engineers to prioritize and verify fixes.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of QA processes, tooling, and standards for mobile development.
- Collaborate effectively with a fully remote team using async communication tools and clear written updates.
Skills and Qualifications
- Some hands-on experience in software QA.
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent experience preferred but not required.
- Any programming or data handling experience (e.g., JavaScript, SQL/SQLite, or similar).
- Familiarity with web and API tools such as REST APIs, JSON/JSONata, Postman, and GitHub would be a bonus.
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills with strong attention to detail.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively and efficiently in a remote team.

Solutions Developer - US Remote Only

Position Overview
We are seeking a motivated Junior Solutions Developer based in the United States to join our remote team immediately! As a Solutions Developer at Jigx, you will collaborate with our Solution and Platform Developers to build beautiful, high-quality mobile applications for our customers and partners using the Jigx Platform. This is an exciting opportunity to gain real-world experience, solve meaningful problems, and contribute to a fast-moving startup environment.
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain high-quality mobile applications using the Jigx Platform.
- Collaborate closely with developers and customers to deliver seamless mobile solutions.
- Manage the full application lifecycle, including development, testing, deployment, and support.
- Troubleshoot and resolve production issues quickly and effectively.
- Seamlessly integrate mobile apps with backend systems through REST APIs.
- Handle data management using SQLite and follow best practices for data lifecycle management.
- Write clean, maintainable JavaScript code and use JSONata for data transformations.
- Use tools like Postman for API testing and GitHub for version control and collaboration.
